Join several visual effects luminaries on stage for their direct thoughts on how the future of the industry will be shaped. You’ll hear from Wētā FX’s Joe Letteri, Sony Pictures Imageworks’ Mike Lasker, AMD’s James Knight, Lola VFX’s Trent Claus, ILM’s Hal Hickel and freelance VFX supervisor Andreas Maaninka—who all each have a significant voice in implementing creative and technology solutions on major productions.

Topics we’ll touch on include the state of the art in art and tech, the influence of machine learning, how the industry might emerge post-disruption from strikes and COVID, and what kind of content VFX artists will be making.

The conversation will be guided by befores & afters editor-in-chief Ian Failes. You’ll also get to ask the panel your questions on what the future holds for VFX.
