Film Music: Appalachian Lord of the What?!
A very musical presentation by multiple award winning composer and sound supervisor Scot Stafford, this will dive deep into the process of creating music and sound for film, focusing on the celebrated score to "Lost Ollie." Stafford will show how he discovered and shaped the unique sound of the series, and will bring some of the old Appalachian instruments he used to create it. He'll also reflect on what works in collaborations across a 20 year career in film working with directors ranging from Gorillaz' Jamie Hewlett to the Simpsons creators, to Glen Keane, from shorts to series, VR and features.
