Scenography for Animation. Designing for the camera
Carlos Zaragoza, production designer of “The Emoji Movie” at Sony Pictures Animation, will share his thoughts on creating unique environments that support the story. In this workshop, Carlos will ask the participants to think about how to convey an initial visual concept into the final shot, taking in consideration how the camera will see it. Carlos will talk about his process and show examples process to design the worlds of live action movies like “Pan’s Labyrinth” and “Asterix at The Olympic Games”, as well as the animated “Madagascar3”, “Gnomeo & Juliet“, “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” and “The Emoji Movie”.
