Every Pixel Will Be Generated
AI, creativity and the future of entertainment with generative models
A fireside chat with Cristóbal Valenzuela, co-founder and CEO of Runway, and Richard Kerris, vice president and general manager of media and entertainment at NVIDIA.
For most of film history, a storyteller’s vision had to pass through layers of translation before reaching the screen. Departments, pipelines and hand-offs each interpreted intent into image. Generative models collapse that distance. The line between story and visual becomes a direct connection, not an interpretation.
In this conversation, Valenzuela and Kerris put the storyteller at the center of that shift. When anyone who can imagine a frame can generate it, the storyteller is the tool, and the technology recedes into service of the story. They’ll discuss what today’s models make possible, how studios and independent artists are already working this way, and why the instincts of great storytellers matter more, not less, when every pixel can be generated.
