Oscar winning film editor Michael McCusker, ACE, explores storytelling and how a movie comes together in the cutting room in conversation with journalist Carolyn Giardina. Topics will include how a story is shaped in the cutting room, and the collaborative process between editor and director, as well as with department heads from VFX to sound, in a discussion for both students and professionals. This will includes examples and insights from his decades of work, including Ford v Ferrari, for which he won a BAFTA and Academy Award..
