Svend graduated from The Animation Workshop in 2009 and has been working as an animator since, and recently as an animation supervisor.

His first feature as an animator was on "Song of the Sea", working from a studio in Denmark in cooperation with Cartoon Saloon.  Later he would work on the feature "Long Way North" as a clean-up artist, before going to Ireland and animate on series "Cúl an Tí" and the feature "The Breadwinner". After animating on the Disney series "Big Hero 6" in Denmark, he returned to Cartoon Saloon for his first feature supervising job on "Wolfwalkers".

During his career he has worked on tv-series, shorts, commercials and features, but also teaches at The Animation Workshop now and then. He loves being inspired by the wisdom of the old veterans at work as much as the passion of the hungry animation students around him.
