Paul Duncan currently served as the Production Designer on DreamWorks Animations’ Spirit Untamed. He previously served as Art Director on Abominable and The Croods.

Duncan first joined DreamWorks in 1997 as Background Supervisor on Joseph – King of Dreams. In the years following, he contributed to numerous films, including The Road to El Dorado, Spirit: Stallion of The Cimarron, Sinbad: Legends of The Seven Seas, Over the Hedge, Bee Movie, Shrek Forever After,  and The Croods: A New Age. He also worked on a number of interactive projects for DreamWorks Interactive.

Prior to joining DreamWorks Animation, Duncan was a Background Painter at Warner Bros. Animation.  Previously, he took on the role as a Lead Artist at Los Angeles-based advertising agency Hamagami Carrol.

Duncan hails from Northern Ireland and began his artistic career on the unlikely path of an apprenticeship that took him to churches and cathedrals all over the country, drawing, designing and coloring stained glass windows.  He then spent five years traveling from Australia to Mexico, working in glass shops and advertising houses.
