Nathan Phail-Liff
VES Awards Winner, Art Director at Ready At Dawn
Equally comfortable in the realm of technical and artistic production, Nathan Phail-Liff is Art Director at independent game developer Ready At Dawn, most recently shipping Lone Echo and Echo Arena for the Oculus Rift. Prior to Lone Echo, Nathan worked as Art Director on The Order: 1886 and God of War: Ghost of Sparta, as Lead 3D and Technical Artist on God of War: Chains of Olympus, and on Daxter as Environment, Lighting, and Texture Artist.
Drawing from both his technical and artistic background, Nathan has played an integral role in pushing the boundaries of both artistry and technology in the interactive medium, across a range of platforms, including portables, home consoles, and VR.
Before entering the world of video game development, Nathan managed to escape from a degree in Aerospace Engineering and has worked as a multimedia artist, UI and graphic designer, and 3D illustrator for numerous clients in the aerospace, software, and video game industries.
