A 15 year veteran of the animation industry, Nate currently serves as a CG/VFX Supervisor at Cinesite Vancouver.

Nate studied Animation, Design and Visual Arts for four years at Computer Master School of Arts in Victoria BC, and graduated in 2004. After graduation Nate began his career in the industry as a Production Assistant at VFX and Animation powerhouse Mainframe/Rainmaker Entertainment. Over the ensuing years Nate worked his way up the Production Management chain until his passion for creative shot work and technical problem solving pulled him farther onto the floor. He then moved from Coordination and APM work on DVD movies for Mattel properties such as Max Steel and Barbie, to the high end game trailer for 50 Cent: Bulletproof and cinematics for Ubisoft's Driver and Bethesda Softworks' Wet. From here Nate was promoted to Supervisor of the Shot Finaling Department on the Weinstein Company animated feature film Escape From Planet Earth. 

In 2014 Nate joined Nitrogen Studios as Shot Finaling Supervisor on the blockbuster Seth Rogen R rated animated movie Sausage Party. During production Nate was promoted to CG Supervisor and he wrapped up production on the movie performing this role.

In 2016 Nate continued serving as CG Supervisor for multiple episodes of the groundbreaking DreamWorks Animation and Guillermo del Toro Netflix animated series Troll Hunters. He then took on the CG Supervisor role on MGM’s blockbuster hit The Addams Family, bringing that film to a successful conclusion.

Nate recently finished his role of VFX Supervisor on soon to be released Mila and now acts as CG Supervisor on The Addams Family 2 at Cinesite Vancouver.
