Maggie Malone is an animation executive, producer, author and story consultant. As Head of Creative Affairs for the Walt Disney Animation Studios, Maggie worked on the Academy award-winning films of Zootopia, Frozen and Big Hero 6, as well as Moana, Wreck-It Ralph, Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, The Princess and the Frog, Meet the Robinsons, Wreck-it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen 2, and the Tinker Bellfilms of the DisneyToons Studio division. Maggie has also been an executive producer at Illumination Entertainment, home of the Despicable Me, Minions, Pets and Sing franchises, and recently joined Netflix Animation as a producer. Maggie holds a BA from Yale and an MFA in screenwriting from UCLA’s school of Theater, Film and Television. She is the co-author of The Art of Moana and The Art of Wreck-It Ralph.
