Since her studies (MA New Media and Digital Culture) Lotte Vergouwen has been interested in the interplay between games and learning and development. She graduated cum laude researching the use of game principles for formal and informal education.

After working for children’s media festival Cinekid and the Dutch Public Broadcasting Organization (NPO), Lotte became Business Development Director at IJsfontein, a studio based in Amsterdam that specializes in Playful Learning. She worked with many different organisations and companies to help them to use innovative play concepts and technology to inspire people and spark their curiosity.
Currently Lotte applies this knowledge as Course Leader Games & Interaction at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht.
