After training at Gobelins and Beaux-Arts de Paris, Kristof Serrand began his animator career in the early 80, working alongside Jacques Rouxel, René Laloux , Paul Grimault, and on the Asterix feature films at the Gaumont studios. In 1989 he moved to London to join Amblimation, the new Steven Spielberg studio, then participated in 1995 in the creation of DreamWorks.

He worked on 25 feature films, as animator, supervisor and head of animation. (The Turning Table, The Prince of Egypt, Spirit, Dragons ... ) He has also been a teacher in various schools including Gobelins, and contributed for thirty years, to the training and recruitment of many talents. He recently worked on “The Croods 2 and recently joined Nettflix as Character Animation Manager EMEA.
