Lossless VFX Production: The Emerging Integrated Production Paradigm

Lossless VFX Production: The Emerging Integrated Production Paradigm

Lossless VFX Production: The Techniques of Integrated Production

Kevin Tod Haug has surfed the paradigm shifts from optical to digital, from motion control to CGI, and from small screen to large and back again. Most recently, he worked in Near Real Time for Edoardo De Angelis’ COMANDANTE (chosen to open the Venice Biennale 2023 and a David Di Donatello nomination).

His credits include:

• Three films for David Fincher: THE GAME, FIGHT CLUB, and PANIC ROOM

• Tarsem’s visually dazzling THE CELL and Zach Helm’s remarkable MR. MAGORIUM’S WONDER EMPORIUM

• Six projects with Marc Forster, including FINDING NEVERLAND, STAY, STRANGER THAN FICTION, KITE RUNNER, and QUANTUM OF SOLACE (BAFTA nomination)

• Frequent collaborations with David Slade, including ECLIPSE, BARKSKINS, and an Emmy nomination for AMERICAN GODS under the aegis of Neil Gaiman, Bryan Fuller, and Michael Green

Haug is a member of the ASC Tech Council, AMPAS, BAFTA, ATAS, the DGA, and the CIA (California Institute of the Arts).
