C.E.O., Julien Fournié Haute Couture
After learning Haute Couture at the side of John Galliano (at Christian Dior), Alexander Mc Queen (at Givenchy) and Jean Paul Gaultier (at Gaultier Paris), Julien Fournié has founded his eponymous Haute Couture house in 2009 and has shown since two collections every year in the Haute Couture Fashion Week calendar.
From the very beginning of his company, Julien Fournié has shown an active interest for digital technology. A real pioneer in this field, he has co-created In 2011 with Dassault Systèmes the FashionLab , a R&D hub looking for new solutions and tools for the fashion industry, As a user of IPad for his fashion illustrations, design of prints and technical sketches, he was chosen as a spokesperson for IPadPro as soon as it was launched. Tim Cook (Apple CEO) has visited his atelier in 2017 and Julien is one of the regular guests at Apple’s keynote events. Julien Fournié was later also involved in the possible developments of blockchain to protect creative productions in the fashion industry. The French couturier has also designed and launched the first Haute Couture outfits for avatars in a video game thanks to Tencent Games.
Going deeper every season in the field of 3D technology , Julien is looking forward to founding his own 3D design permanent workshop, an equivalent of his Haute Couture atelier, in the same building as his design studio, to create 3D garments, decors , objects, events, characters... not only in the fields of Haute Couture and fashion, but also addressing other industries’issues with the same care, attention to design and refined craftsmanship as in the field of Haute Couture and with the same goal in mind: creating emotions to change the world.
