Jesse Andrews is an award-winning screenwriter, New York Times-bestselling novelist, and former German youth hostel receptionist. His produced screenplays include Pixar's Luca (2021, cowritten with Mike Jones); Every Day (2018); and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015), which he adapted from his own novel of the same name (Amulet Books, 2012) and which won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. His other novels are The Haters (2016) and Munmun (2018).
