Francesco Grisi
CEO, Effetti Digitali Italiani (EDI)
His career started as a VFX Artist for BUF Compagnie and as VFX supervisor for Batman and Robin and Fight Club. Francesco Grisi then founded EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani in 2001. Over a span of 23 years he created visual effects for more than 230 films, working with several directors - including Gabriele Mainetti, Gabriele Muccino, Matteo Rovere, and Gabriele Salvatores. He has also worked with Hollywood majors such as Disney, Marvel, Dc Comics, Warner and 20th Century Studios and for international series produced by Sky, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, Starz and Fox Networks. He is, in addition, a member of the Academy of Italian Cinema - David di Donatello Awards and since 2019 of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
