Fedra Fateh
Deputy Director of the Torino Film Festival, Founder of the Lady Boss Campaign, Lawyer
Fedra Fateh is an Iranian-American lawyer from New York. She is Deputy Director of the Torino Film Festival and founder of the Lady Boss Campaign. The aim of the Lady Boss Campaign is to inspire and empower girls and women to lead companies and countries. Fedra is leading this effort to achieve gender parity in heads of state and Fortune 500 CEOs by 2050. In 2019, she published her first book, using a pen name, called The Mating Manifesto, a satirical exploration of the relationship between men and women.
She was general counsel and an investment analyst for a New York family office. She practiced law with Jones Day in New York and with Freshfields, Bruckhaus, Deringer in Tokyo and London. She received a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College and a law degree from Columbia Law School. Fedra speaks Farsi, Japanese and French. Her interests include cinema, martial arts and jazz.
