
Federica Gasbarro
Climate Activist, Author, and Presenter
Federica Gasbarro, who has already graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, is currently completing her studies in Sustainability and Energy Management at Bocconi University in Milan.
Federica is an activist against climate change and the author of three books published by the Mondadori Group, with the first one being presented on the Rai TV show "Che Tempo Che Fa." She maintains a weekly column on The Wom and has a blog on the Huffington Post.
She is among the "100 NUMBER ONE" in Forbes Italy, a ranking of young Italian leaders of the future for 2021.
She has represented the youth in her country who are fighting for a better future, being the only Italian selected by the United Nations (alongside Greta Thunberg and 99 other young leaders) at the first gathering of young leaders at the United Nations headquarters in New York and at the General Assembly during the Climate Summit in 2019.
In October 2021, she had the opportunity to meet His Holiness, Pope Francis, three times and delivered a speech in his presence during the event: "Meeting Religion and Science towards COP26," attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio, COP26 President Alok Sharma, and prominent religious and civic figures.
