Eve Roth
Digital Artist in Virtual Production
Eve Roth is a Brooklyn based artist who currently works in virtual production. She recently graduated with honors from Pratt Institute in 2020 with a BFA in Digital Art. Eve studied as a 3D generalist while at Pratt which allowed her to pursue her passion for film and enabled her to explore other ways to apply animation for television, gaming, and fine art. As a digital artist who uses both traditional rendering and real-time engines, her work is invested in exploring the limits of available software. She is often inspired by stop motion and is heavily influenced by her love for lighting and texturing. This is actively incorporated as dramatic lighting and meticulously detailed objects in her pieces. While in college she was inspired by the capabilities of real-time software and the impact that this technique could have on the industry. Her capstone film was then created entirely in Unreal Engine with the intention of exploring game engines for cinematic use. Eve has worked for Netflix on a project that is invested in the potential of real-time software. She most recently is working for Parallux, working to expand their VR film capabilities.
