Benjamin Price
Student & FIRST KIDS! critic
Benjamin Price lives in the D.C area, has no siblings and wants a dog. During COVID-19, Benjamin enjoys spending time with his family, Face Timing his friends, doing homework and, of course, consuming and processing media – watching movies and indulging in their innate magic. He’d balk if you asked him to tell you his favorite movie, but most likely it would be between Once Upon A Time In The West, Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Social Network. He’s been passionate about movies since he was three and fortunately, is still finding new favorites. He looks up to film critics like Ann Hornaday, David Sims, Brian Tallerico and Amy Nicholson, but Roger Ebert was his gateway into the world of film criticism and thanks for that it’s brought him lots of joy and insight into how to appreciate and talk about the thing he cares about. What he’s most proud of is the confidence he’s gained from what he enjoys doing, including penning the reviews he writes as a KIDS FIRST! Film Critic. At KIDS FIRST! he reviews movies, attends festivals and gets the chance to talk to some very cool people, along with interacting with his fellow team members.
