Life is hard. So is movie making. How do we survive the slings and arrows of being human in a difficult world? We need stories. By telling our personal stories of struggle, we can explore the universal struggles of humanity. The more we struggle, the better the story. By telling the truth, we can connect- first to ourselves, then to an audience... and together we find ways to laugh, cry, grieve and grow. Evolution hurts. Failure sucks. Pain is part of the process.
