There is a common struggle between stylized art vs realism, and common points raised in the online discourse regarding the subject are combative, ‘It’s harder’...’ that's easy’... ‘it lands jobs’. You could go on for days. But there are distinct differences and I think we are seeing a shift in the audience's appetite for certain aesthetics, you can see this in the reception to films such as Klaus & Into The Spider-Verse.
