Dean DeBlois, three-time Oscar®-nominated writer/director of Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation’s live-action How to Train Your Dragon, will be speaking in person at VIEW Conference 2025 alongside the film’s VFX Supervisor Christian Mänz. Adapted from the New York Times best-selling book series by Cressida Cowell and based on the beloved 2010 animated film from DreamWorks Animation and DeBlois, How to Train Your Dragon opens in theaters June 13, 2025.
On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast, Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon.
