Alessandra Sorrentino
Art Director, Head of Story, 2D Animator
Alessandra Sorrentino is an Italian-born Art Director, Head of Story, and 2D animator with over 20 years of experience in feature animation. A two-time Emmy nominee and member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, she has worked with major studios including PIXAR, Netflix, Blue Sky Studios, Aardman, and Cartoon Saloon.
Her credits include Inside Out 2, Nimona, Wolfwalkers, Ron's Gone Wrong, A Shaun the Sheep Movie, Song of the Sea, The Breadwinner, and The Secret of Kells.
Currently, Alessandra is Art Director at Studio MDHR, the award-winning independent game studio behind Cuphead, where she leads the visual development of an upcoming 2D hand-drawn title.
