Chris McLaughlin

Chris McLaughlin is an award-winning VFX Supervisor at DNEG’s London studio. He has over 15 years of experience in the visual effects industry, most recently serving as VFX Supervisor on Amazon MGM Studios’ feature ‘Masters of the Universe’. Prior to this, he supervised DNEG’s VFX work on the Star Wars series ‘Skeleton Crew’ and Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi comedy movie ‘Mickey 17’. His impressive filmography also includes ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’, ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, ‘Deadpool 2’ and the Academy Award-winning ‘Blade Runner 2049’, for which he received the 2018 VES Award for ‘Outstanding Created Environment in a Photoreal Feature’. Originally trained as an Architect, Chris moved into visual effects after completing a master’s degree in Digital Effects at Bournemouth University and has been with DNEG since 2010.
