Simone Kraus has worked in the animation and visual effects industry for the past 18 years. She has been the co-owner of Trixter since 1998, and has helped establish the company as a key creator of high end visual effects for live action tentpole feature films. In 2008 she won the German TV Award for the film Wonder Of Loch Ness, and in 2016 was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

She was the overall Animation Supervisor on Constantin Film's Lilly The Witch 1 and 2, Universum Film’s Hui Buh and Dragon Hunters and has been Trixter's Animation Supervisor on a multitude of feature films for many different Hollywood studios: Marvel (Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, the complete Captain America trilogy, both Avengers and its sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Spiderman Homecoming and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2), Warner Bros. (Ninja Assassin and Cloud Atlas), Fox (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, X-Men: First Class, Narnia: Voyage of the Dawntreader), Columbia Pictures (The Green Hornet) and New Line (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island). Simone is heading up the Los Angeles office, and has just finished working on Marvel’s Thor Ragnarok, and currently working on Marvel’s Black Panther.

Her talent for breathing life into characters, coupled with her dedication, enthusiasm and expertise at leading teams of artists and producers gives Trixter's US clients a local presence with a truly global reach.
