Remko Noteboom is a Principal Software Engineer at Tippett Studio, where he leads pipeline and infrastructure strategy for cutting-edge VFX and AI-driven productions. With over 25 years in the media and entertainment industry, Remko brings deep expertise in software architecture, VFX workflows and cross-functional pipeline solutions that power large-scale, collaborative productions. His technical experience spans a wide range of industries such as Finance, Defense, Medicine and Consumer Products, each with a particular focus on scalable systems for global production environments. In addition to his responsibilities at Tippett, Remko is a successful technology entrepreneur, serving as the CTO and Co-Founder of LOFT Apps - a production management platform used across the VFX and animation industries. He drives the company’s technical innovation, developing advanced tools that streamline resource planning and pipeline integration. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Southpaw Technology and led the development of TACTIC, an open-source workflow system adopted globally. He has held key technical roles at CORE Feature Animation, Nelvana, and Alias Wavefront, where his innovations helped shape modern asset and production management pipelines. His work on Nelnet earned a 2021 Technology and Engineering Emmy® Award. Known for his collaborative mindset and technical leadership, Remko continues to drive innovation at the intersection of technology and creative production.
