Matteo Sapio is a manager and producer, appointed Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy for his role in promoting the Italian creative industry worldwide. After early experiences in Japan and the United States with RAI TRADE and LUCE CINECITTÀ, he contributed to the global reach of Italian cinema and produced innovative projects such as White Shoe with Salvatore Ferragamo. Returning to Japan, he oversaw the international expansion of Kadokawa’s video games, bringing them to global markets. Today he is Chief Strategy Officer at Poncle, where he drives the growth of the studio behind Vampire Survivors through new productions and publishing initiatives.
