Massimo Carrier Ragazzi
Executive Producer & Show Runner, Maga Animation Studios
Massimo Carrier Ragazzi (born January 11th, 1972 in Milan, Italy), artist, author, director, and producer, began his professional activities in 1990 during his first year studying Audiovisual Arts and Direction at Milan's NABA academy. He specialized in film direction, editing, 2D/3D computer graphics, and both traditional/digital and mixed animation techniques.
In 1994, he began formulating the idea for an independent structure aimed at developing new ways of interpreting animation and video arts, as well as digital cinema and video games. This vision came to life in 1996 when he founded Maga Animation Studio with the objective of creating significant productions and animated projects focused on experimentation and artistic research, while exporting high-quality "Made in Italy" work to the international market.
The studio creates first-class animation for TV, films, advertising, and especially for the video game industry, merging passion, art, and technology to create unprecedented magic. Maga's short films, animated series, and advertisements have been awarded and selected at numerous festivals worldwide, including Annecy, Brooklyn Film Festival, Interfilm-Berlin, Promax, and many others.
