Jochen Willemsen
Cinematic Director, Guerilla Games
Jochen has been in the videogames industry for close to 20 years. Originally trained as an audio engineer, he started his career in recording studios where he worked as a recording and mixing engineer on the dubbing for animated shows like Avatar: The last Airbender, Dora the Explorer and Invader Zim.
Over time he broadened his horizon and transitioned into videogames localization, producing and directing on titles such as the Uncharted series, Little Big Planet, Heavy Rain and the Ratchet & Clank series.
Learning and finding his path through the industry, 12 years ago, he ended up at Guerrilla Games. Currently at Guerrilla, he handles casting, vo and cinematic direction. Credits include Killzone Shadow Fall, Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, Horizon Call of the Mountain and LEGO® Horizon Adventures.
In his spare time, Jochen is an avid photographer and writes, records and produces his own music.
