Cinema.3: A New Era of Film

Gabriella Taddeo is Associate Professor of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the University of Turin. Her research interests include digital cultures, online participation, vernacular practices on social media, and both formal and informal media literacy. She has participated in several international projects on digital culture and media studies, including the European H2020 Transmedia Literacy and KIDS4ALLL projects.

Author of over fifty academic publications, she has contributed to international debate with articles published in leading journals such as International Journal of Communication and Information, Communication & Society. Her most recent books include Social. L’industria delle relazioni (Einaudi, 2024), a critical reflection on relational dynamics in the platform era, and Persuasione Digitale. Come persone, interfacce, algoritmi ci influenzano online(Guerini Scientifica, 2023), which explores forms of influence in digital contexts.

Her work is marked by a multidisciplinary approach and a constant focus on the evolution of contemporary communicative practices.
