The Sheep Detectives

A creature and character animator par excellence, Chris was recruited straight out of college by Walt Disney Feature Animation - a unique opportunity which allowed him to learn from the world’s top 2D animators.

A nine-year stint with Sony Pictures Imageworks followed, where he moved through the ranks to become Animation Director and helped establish the studio’s feature animation division. Upon relocating to London, Chris worked on high profile projects like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Ready Player One.

The care, craft, nuance and warmth Chris brings to his work is exemplified by his career at Framestore, where he has helped breathe life into beloved characters like Paddington and Rocket Raccoon. Indeed, his character work on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 was central to telling Rocket’s emotional backstory and helping secure a nomination for the Best Visual Effects Oscar. This year Chris delivered nuanced animated performances in the form of Lily and her flock in Amazon MGM's The Sheep Detectives.
