Theo Bialek is a visual effects supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks with over two decades of industry experience. He most recently served as visual effects supervisor on SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME for Columbia Pictures and Marvel.
Previously, Bialek served as visual effects supervisor on SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, digital effects supervisor on ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS, and senior CG supervisor on THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. His other credits include THE SMURFS 2, GREEN LANTERN, ALICE IN WONDERLAND (2011 Academy Award® nominee, Achievement in Visual Effects), BEOWULF, HOLLOW MAN (2000 Academy Award® nominee, Achievement in Visual Effects), and STUART LITTLE (1999 Academy Award® nominee, Achievement in Visual Effects), among others.
Bialek joined Sony Pictures Imageworks in 1998 from Rhythm & Hues, where he served as a lighting artist on BABE: PIG IN THE CITY.
A native of Rhode Island, Bialek studied Computer Engineering at the University of Rochester Institute of Technology.
