Robert Valley
Director, Animator, Character Designer
Robert Valley is a Canadian-born director, animator, and character designer with over 30 years of experience in the animation industry. A three-time Emmy winner and Academy Award nominee, he is known for his highly stylized, sharp-angled graphic aesthetic and has collaborated with major global brands and studios including Netflix, Disney, Passion Pictures, MTV, and Nike. His credits include Love, Death & Robots ("Zima Blue" and "Ice"), Pear Cider and Cigarettes, Tron: Uprising, The Beatles: Rock Band, Æon Flux, and numerous music video sequences for the virtual band Gorillaz. Currently, Robert continues to develop independent comic and animation projects under his personal brand, Massive Swerve.
