A Conversation with Sharon Calahan
Join Sharon Calahan, the pioneering Director of Photography for some of Pixar’s most iconic films (A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Cars 2, The Good Dinosaur, Onward), as she talks about her artistic inspiration, working process, and thoughts on the ever-changing art of lighting computer animated films. Sharon pays particular attention to some of the lighting decisions in her most recent project, the 2020 Pixar film Onward. Sharon is in one-on-one conversation with Glenn Entis, among other things, co-founder of Pacific Data Images, a studio where Sharon worked for several years earlier in her career.
