Marvel Studios visual effects supervisor Jake Morrison will walk through a brand new approach to post production lighting using FlightLight. This technology comes from Satellite Lab’s PlateLight, used most recently on Thor: Love and Thunder. Morrison will reveal how film and TV characters can be convincingly filmed and lit in an environment of changing and/or moving light, say, when they need to plummet off a building. The FlightLight tech lets you relight an actor accurately to reflect the dynamic environment you’re putting them in, effectively allowing you to relight the scene after it has been filmed.
