With the emerging XR scene crystallising before us, new roles for audiences are emerging. In this talk, Robin will lift the lid on this rapidly developing creative scene. With a focus on the collaboration between Marshmallow Laser Feast, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Philharmonia Orchestra and Manchester International Festival in the project Dream. He will cover the challenges of directing the live show and creating the storyworld as well as why R&D was central to the production. Alongside some of the curious details of MLF's practice including explorations into how to bring tactility to the metaverse.
