Behavior Design

We are influenced daily by thousands of persuasive messages. The smallest nudge can cause us to take a 180 degree turn on our behavior.

Somehow 'they' know exactly when, where and how to pull your strings. Yet we find it very hard to change our own behavior. Even if we really want to.

Somewhere between the intention of not eating so much pizza and actually sticking to that, lies a wondrous mysteryland full of long and winding causal paths.

In this talk we are going to explore that land and see how game designers and storytellers translate scientific insights into a design that makes people curious about behavior and give them the tools they need to experiment.

So saddle up your inner ginuea pig, for science!
