"Virtual Meets Physical"
From the founder of the company, Pinin, to his nephew Paolo, today Chairman of the company, with the designers who operate at the Cambiano Design Center, Pininfarina’s distinctive trait, a hallmark of Made in Italy, has wound its way through more than 85 years of history and emotions, to outline the shape of the future. Pininfarina’s style has always been a synonym for beauty, elegance and functionality.
“Virtual meets Physical” tells how the creation process has been able to evolve over the last few years with the introduction of virtual reality: a tool that has not canceled the use of physical mockups but has joined to them to bring a better understanding and vision of the design.
Biography
Marco Ivancich started his career in 2001 in the Pininfarina Style Center as multimedia designer. In 2003 he graduated in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Milan Polytechnic. During the past years in Pininfarina he had the opportunity to increase his skills in various fields: design, graphics, photography, virtual reality. He is currently in charge of the Virtual Lab Pininfarina, a team specialized in virtual presentations and video production.
