For more than 7 years, Gilles Penso and Alexandre Poncet have visited numerous studios all around the world met with dozens of artists (David Silverman, Glen Keane, Andreas Deja, Regina Pessoa, Joanna Quinn, Bill Plympton, Steve Cutts, Peter Ramsey, Peter Lord, Floyd Norman, Jay Oliva, Yoko Kuno, Joe Dante and many more). Walking With Animators is the result of their research, which explores the philosophy and the creative process behind the art of animation, and highlights its human implications in the context of emerging controversial technologies.
