Join Patrick Harboun, DNEG Animation's VFX Supervisor on The Angry Birds Movie 3, for a behind-the-scenes look at the creative and technical craft of bringing this iconic feathered franchise back to the big screen. Patrick will showcase different parts of the filmmaking process, offering insights into how the team worked to preserve the characters' familiar visual identities while continuing to push the quality and craft for an updated animation feature. The presentation will also cover some of the show's technical innovations, including how the DNEG Animation team developed CFX/PFX systems for fur and feather simulation, and translated the film's production design into colourful and expressive lighting.
