Andrea Carignano was born in 1970, he is Founder and CEO of seac02, a company focused on real-time raytracing and augmented reality software for the retail and design market, and founder and President of 3D Emotion, a technology startup that is going to launch the first autostereoscopic HD 3D projection. Andrea has a degree in Aerospatial Engineer, and over 10 years experience, academicals and professional, in virtual-reality and industrial design market. He was contract professor at Politecnico di Torino and Architectural Faculty in Torino for industrial design.
He is member of the board of Associazione Culturale VIEW Conference.
Abstract
Realtime Design, the new way to visualize products
Today over the 60% of the buyer decides what to purchase directly in the Point of Sale, esthetical look of the retail products and packages has became one of the key factor for the success of a company. Andrea Carignano will describe how seac02 helps retail companies to design new packages and product in realtime, and how they can start using a virtual prototyping method without high technical skills. Andrea will present two case histories from different markets and different needs.
