Virtual Reality
& Multi Media Park: La Scuola
The School of the Virtual Reality &
Multi Media Park (http://www.edu.vrmmp.it, in Italian) trains
professionals for the audiovisual and multimedia production.
In a unique context, where the School is near a production
centre and a technological centre for research and development
(http://www.vrmmp.it), students can apprehend work methodologies
and experience advanced techniques. The vertical, annual and
biennial, programmes of the School, some in collaboration
with the University of Torino, train technical/creative professionals.
Post-graduate Annual Master Programme in Screenwriting and
Story Editing (9th edition): trains Screenwriters, Story Editors,
Copywriters, Authors for TV Formats,
Documentary Filmmakers. Annual Master Programme in Video Technique,
Effects and Compositing (5th edition): trains Video operators,
Video Compositors, Video editors, Operators/Supervisors of
Visual and Special Effects (VFX). Annual/Biennial Master Programme
in Computer Graphics (5th edition): the opportunity of attending
an annual or biennial programme stems from an evolving work
market that requires both generic figures with a wide knowledge
in CG production (modelling, animation, rendering), employed
by communication agencies, and specific figures with a very
specialized skill (in rigging, lighting, advanced rendering,
character animation, dynamics effects), employed by cinema
and commercial productions. People can also enrol into the
second year after finishing the first year.
Post-graduate Annual Master Programme in Digital Entertainment
(5th edition): this is a personalized version of the annual
CG programme for the University of Torino, that also includes
Game Design and Motion Capture techniques. Moreover, the School
proposes short programmes in Sound techniques for cinema and
video, with specialized workshops for boom operators, sound
editors, sound mixers, sound designer and foley artists, and
in Real-Time Computer Graphics for CG content creators for
videogames.
The School collaborates with Università di Torino and
Politecnico di Torino for second level courses in multimedia
and virtual reality. Visit the web site
