Dimian has recently completed work on Imageworks' second animated feature Surf's Up for Sony Pictures Animation.
Dimian started at Imageworks as a shader writer on the Academy Award® nominated Hollow Man. His other Imageworks projects include the Academy Award® Spider-Man, Monster House, The Polar Express and Stuart Little 2.
He is currently supervising on Imageworks' third animated feature for Sony Pictures Animation, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Surf’s Up: A Practical Guide to Making Waves

Computer Graphics supervisor Danny Dimian will present a brief look at the making of the animated action comedy, Surf's Up.
The session will specifically cover the use of camera, wave effects and rendering techniques which all contribute to the film's unique look and style.
