I started this job for passion and the main effort I have made during my life has been keeping this passion alive through the years.
Aiming to succeed in this extremely difficult enterprise, I’ve had the privilege to do the work that fascinated me the most, for example, spectacular movies, short film and features, neglecting some commercial works and advertisements and entrusting them to some excellent collaborators of mine (such as Guido Manuli, Maurizio Nichetti, Giuseppe Laganà or Giorgio Valentini).
This decision has helped me to run with the hare and hunt with the hounds and to create and to produce the shorts and the features I was interested in, risking huge sums, without forgetting more “remunerative” tasks, which could allow me to maintain my own studio.
Now this studio doesn’t exist any longer and I’m a free lance, I concentrate mainly on the creative aspect of production, carrying out TV series that I have conceived, making, producing and animating Flash short films by using new techniques which fascinate me a lot like 3D, with young talented collaborators. Currently, with Massimo Carrier Ragazzi’s extremely efficient “Maga” studio, I’m completing a TV series for children, totally made in 3D.
I’ve also written two subjects and a screenplay for new features, but unfortunately Italian producers, in spite of what happens abroad, do not seem very interested in these kind of productions which, in my opinion, are the kind of works they should invest in the most.
